The Library consists of approximately 45,000 volumes, 130 current periodical subscriptions, and 7 CD-ROMS. Holdings are primarily in English and Hebrew. Areas of expertise: Biblical Studies, Rabbinics, Jewish History, Hebrew Language, Jewish Liturgy, Judaism, Jewish Philosophy, Jewish Ethics, Comparative Religion, Hasidism, Jewish Mysticism, and Practical Rabbinics. Special Collections: The Mordecai M. Kaplan Archives (not presently open to the public), liturgy files, education materials. The Library is a member of the Association of Jewish Libraries and the Council of Archives and Research Libraries of Jewish Studies.
