Supporting theological education in eastern Pennsylvania and central New Jersey
Invited guest, Dr. Thomas E. Phillips, is the founder of the Digital Theological Library (DTL). He is also Dean of the Library and Information Services and Professor of Theological Bibliography at Claremont School of Theology. Dr. Phillips speaks about how the DTL was envisioned and developed as a robust digital library consortium. Implication for SEPTLA’s adoption of key principles for cooperative purchasing and resource sharing are also discussed.
On August 25, 2020, a group of SEPTLA librarians gathered on Zoom to share their libraries’ plans for reopening and to brainstorm how we can continue our commitment to resource sharing in these challenging times.
The SEPTLA Resource Sharing Task Force — Mark Draper, Gerald Lincoln and Evan Boyd — concluded their work in 2018. Mark and Gerald presented the slides below to the membership at the November 8, 2018 meeting.
